Social media personality and dancehall artiste Queenie Ladi Gangsta says she has not given up on love and is even willing to open her heart to a man with physical challenges.

"I don't mind dating or being with a disabled person, as I am an energy giving person and mi like special people. Mi like people who is not normal like normal. I would date someone who is blind because I am a caring, loving person and as long as my energy connects to that person, I am good," she said.

Queenie recently appeared on the UK's ITV Network dating show Blind Matchmakers. In the series, the entertainer is paired with a visually impaired man but says it was merely a TV date.

"All the contestants are blind so it's literally a blind date. For this particular show, I went just for the experience and it was a test run, I didn't fall in love with anyone. But it's possible that I could meet someone on a dating show and fall in love because if I went on a date like that and all a the hair dem stand up pon mi and mi heart a go 'bum dum dum' and mi a get butterflies and current, then mi all for it," Queenie said.

She said when she was contacted by the producer of the show to be a part of the cast, she instantly gave them the nod.

"I didn't even know what I was getting myself into or else mi would a put on little makeup and fix up. Mi go on it because mi full of character and all purpose, suh mi just go for it. When mi see di set-up, I was intrigued," she said.

Queenie, 55, filed for divorce late last year from her estranged husband Dwayne 'Dewey' Scarlett following a roller coaster three year marriage. In 2021, she married Scarlett who is 20 years her junior. Now single and ready to mingle, Queenie said she has space for a new king in her palace.

"Anyone who make mi heart beat extra hard could get a chance. Mi wah get married again and love is out there for me, mi nah give up on myself. And if it's a blind, deaf or one foot person, then it would be really special as I would have to tender care that person. I have a special needs son and even though he is not blind, he has a disability so I know I can master that," Queenie told THE STAR.

"It's possible I could get married to someone who is blind or have other disabilities and go 'here comes the bride with a blind husband. I don't really mind as long as the man loves me'," Queenie sang.

Currently Queenie is in Turkey, undergoing a dental procedure as a part of her birthday celebration on December 2.
